We love the weekends. 

Even though in reality the weekends aren't considerably different in routine to weekdays for the children and I, Saturday and Sunday does usually mean that daddy is home so we can have proper family time.

Our household consists of Julia (mama), Lee (dad), Amara aged 5, Taisia aged 8, Callum aged 13, Tiegan aged 17, and Joseph aged 21 - our eldest daughter (23) has flown the nest...

A Snow Day

The morning animal chores are always fun on ever so chilly mornings.  Knowing there is a risk of outside pipes freezing and garden taps ceasing to work, I fill water buckets and duck baths the night before to save any lack of water drama...

Making Memories

Much to the children's delight, the white stuff started to fall and squeals of absolute joy could be heard echoing throughout the home.  I sat with fingers crossed that enough would land for a good play about.  I was certain there would be great disappointment without.  Lee returned home safely and I could relax knowing everyone was together again...
